Bulldozers are set to demolish the last two properties on what was Grimsby's infamous Yarborough estate. The semi-detached houses on Conway Avenue date back to the 1950s and have stood empty - save for a family of protected bats - since the start of the multi-million pound regeneration of the area in 2007.
The National Armed Forces Day event reaches its climax in Cleethorpes and Grimsby with another day of fun including aerial displays and military displays.
Today Cleethorpes hosts one of the biggest events in its history as it welcomes the 2016 National Armed Forces Day event. Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather in the resort for an awe-inspiring celebration of the nation's armed forces. In addition to a full parade of serving military personnel, veterans and cadets, there will be air display from the likes of the Red Arrows and Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight. Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent will be in town to watch the celebrations, as will Prime Minister David Cameron.
