There is major importance in the engagement of educational practitioners around tough-to-talk about topics in data-driven conversations. Essential to this collaborative inquiry is the use of data as the FOCUS, and processing skills as the MEANS for exchanging viewpoints and building shared understandings. As reflective practitioners we approach meaning making as an active, personal and social process that calibrates our individual perspectives with a potential shared reality.
