Chattanoogans are invited to line the roadsides today as Staff Sgt. David Wyatt is laid to rest at the National Cemetery. The burial service, expected to begin around 3:45 p.m., will follow the funeral at Hixson United Methodist Church. The service will begin at 1 p.m. and is expected to last until 2:45. The family asks that seats inside the church be saved for family, friends, military personnel, local law enforcement and dignitaries. Members of the general public are encouraged to gather down the street from the church, on a baseball field on Gadd Road.
