The Royal Challengers Bangalore host Kings XI Punjab in match no. 50 of IPL 9 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This is a must win encounter for RCB who are stuck at 12 points and need to win both their coming games to get the required points and to qualify for the semis. Kings XI on the other hand are down and out of contention and would like to play party poppers for the home team. Royal Challengers don’t just have the opposition to fight against but also rain. There is a heavy thundershower in Bangalore and if it persists the game might well be washed off in that case both the teams will have to settle with 1 point each.
