BURTON Albion are preparing for their first home game of the season when Bury visit in tomorrow night's EFL Cup clash, while many of the Brewers' Championship rivals gear up for their first-round fixtures tonight. Record signing Jackson Irvine is set to start tomorrow night after the Australian international was forced to miss Saturday's defeat at Nottingham Forest due to a suspension carried over from Ross County's previous Scottish Premiership campaign. The Brewers came within inches of securing a dramatic point on their Championship debut, eventually losing a 4-3 thriller, having led 2-1 shortly before half-time. Meanwhile, the summer transfer market is still well in business, with second-tier clubs looking to bolster their squads for the season ahead.
