The A23 is reportedly closed just south of Gatwick Airport. According to motorists in the area, the road was closed near the roundabout for Gatwick Road and Perimeter Road East earlier this afternoon. One driver described passing a BMW completely engulfed in flames and a photo from the scene shows a burnt out vehicle. We've contacted Surrey Police, South East Coast Ambulance service and nearby fire stations for more information.
