第28屆金曲獎6月24日晚間在台北小巨蛋舉行，由三金主持人黃子佼三度擔綱典禮主持人，星光大道主持人由第八次主持星光、經驗豐富的Dennis與「Lulu」黃路梓茵搭檔。本屆金曲獎有7大亮點，包含天后張惠妹獻唱已故音樂人張雨生經典歌曲致敬、日本搖滾樂團「GLAY」登台演出、林宥嘉3D結合浮空投影，帶領觀眾走入歌中意境等。
