De rechtbank in Middelburg behandelt vandaag een zaak waarbij een vrouw verdacht wordt van ernstige mishandeling van een man. Redelijk uniek, het zijn veel vaker mannen die voor een geweldsdelict moeten voorkomen dan vrouwen. De 38-jarige vrouw zonder vaste woon- of verblijfplaats wordt verdacht van poging tot doodslag op haar partner. Dit voorjaar zou de vrouw tot twee keer toe haar vriend ernstig hebben mishandeld in een woning in Goes.
