The Long Journey Home Intake 1 2014

New to the program is the Long Journey Home – a concluding hike for the boys time at Glengarry all the way from Kangaroo Valley to the main campus in Bellevue Hill. This trip is over 200 kilometres in length and involves mountain biking, hiking, canoeing and a ferry ride from Bundeena to Rose Bay. The relational aspect of this event means that the entire staff at Glengarry are involved in the farewell ceremony of handing the boys back to their families and the staff at Bellevue Hill in a rites of passage tradition of reconnecting with those who will assist them in their ongoing journey to manhood.
