LIVE Blog: The June European Council

EU leaders are meeting on 28-29 June to bash out a solution to the divisive issue of migration, which should help Chancellor Angela Merkel preserve her fragile government, and lay the groundwork for a scaled-down package of eurozone reforms wanted by French President Emmanuel Macron. Migration will dominate the agenda, as the EU 28 will effort to reach a compromise solution on how to control the bloc's external borders, avoid a massive and unchecked influx of migrants and distribute them internally around the bloc with a certain degree of solidarity among the member states. <div>Use this page to keep an eye on EURACTIV's continued coverage of the issues on the June Summit's agenda.
