Ghana is commemorating its 61st Independence Day celebration with a parade at the Black Star Square in Accra. The President of Nigeria, a special guest of honour, will address the august gathering at the venue today. Thousands of people have thronged the Black Star Square to join in the celebration whiles millions will be observing proceedings from homes and offices.
