Live Chelmsford updates from third day of trial over murder of pensioner Brian Hurry
The trial of a mother and son accused of murdering a pensioner from Chelmsford has entered its second day. Brian Hurry, 78, was battered to death with a dumbbell in the bathtub of his flat in Great Baddow on June 18, 2016. His daughter-in-law, Terri Hurry, and her son, Michael McDonald, are alleged to have murdered Mr Hurry before stealing cash from his home.
