Live Blog: 2016-17 Ligue 2 Week 38

This year's Ligue 2 title race has gone down to the wire. Six teams are withing four points of each other but only two can move up directly while one more will have to battle to move up through a two-legged playoff. Strasbourg, Amiens, Troyes, Lens, Brest and Nimes are the six teams in the hunt for promotion. As for Strasbourg, they need a win to take the league crown. Anything worse, and they can only hope for results to go in their favor to move up to Ligue 2. Amiens and Troyes will hope for a slip up from the league leaders, while the other three must win out and get help as none of the top six face each on this important match day, Week 38 of the 2016-17 Ligue 2 season, sponsored by Domino's. Yes, that's right, Domino's, one of America's top pizza chains. So pass those slices filled with pepperoni or whatever topping you so wish and share those sizzling buffalo wings as you sit your derrieres in your easy chairs on a Friday in May (at least, that's in our time zone on The Stoppage Time, we say) while we present to you a special live blog of the final match day of competition in the second division of France, allez!
