An explosion on Sunday in St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Tanta killed at least 25 people and left scores of others injured. A separate blast occurred minutes after Pope Tawadros II left St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Alexandria, where he had led Palm Sunday prayer, when a citizen approached the church and detonated an explosive device.
