Live Blog: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Olympique Lyonnais Unai Emery's Paris Saint-Germain host Bruno Genesio's Olympique Lyonnais in what is essentially a tuneup match for the Coupe de La Ligue Final on PSG's end and Europa League action against Besiktas on Lyon's end. PSG are coming off a nervous 2-1 win over Lorient in league play, while Lyon come into the Parc des Princes after losing 2-1 to Roma away but still advancing in to the UEL quarterfinals. "We know that before going off to join our respective national teams, we have a big game to play against Lyon," said Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani, one of a number of players earning a call-up to national team duty. "They're a team that works well, is competitive, always near the top of the table, and a big club. But we must above all think about ourselves, our work, and prepare the match well to get the three points and string together wins." "It's a very important match, a big match against a great team," said former PSG great Pedro Pauleta. "When I was playing, my teammates and I always wanted to beat Lyon. We always took the lead but often ended up on the losing end. At the time, it was tough to control matches against them - Lyon dominated the league. I hope that our lads can turn in a huge performance and beat this excellent Lyon side." Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. The live blog begins at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET and includes a wrapup of all the action from Week 30 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season.
