Break Free South Africa

Despite being the third best solar location globally, South Africa still gets 93% of electricity through burning coal. Decades of excessive coal mining has taken its toll on the environment. Our climate change struggle cannot be challenged in isolation. It has to be tackled and fought taking into consideration climate justice, transparency and a sustainable energy mix that is socially just.
