McGill BDS: The Moral Case for BDS – A Rabbi's Perspective

Disclaimer: Quotes may not be verbatim. Rabbi Cantor Michael Davis comes to McGill to give a talk dispelling the myth that BDS is an anti-Semitic movement and making the moral case for BDS. Rabbi Davis actively promotes dialogue surrounding the merit of BDS as a way to stand in solidarity with and gain justice for the Palestinian people. Rabbi Davis is a founding member of JVP (Jewish Voice for Peace)’s rabbinical council. He initiated and drafted the 2011 open letter calling on President Obama not to allow Israel to attack Iran, which Archbishop Desmond Tutu publicly praised.
