The Vivo IPL 2016 Auction will see 351 players go under the hammer. Prior to the Auction the franchises had released and retained players during the draft. The two new teams Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Giants will be the most eagerly followed, since it is the first time they will feature in the league. All the teams must have already prepared the list of players they will vouch out for and the maximum bid that they can place. With the Indian domestic season altered the talent scouts of the teams had a great chance of spotting promising young Indian uncapped players.
