Blood Passport Program..For or Against it?

For this weeks forum I decided on reviewing an article that talked about blood passport and if it could be an effective tool in detecting blood doping. Now blood transport is explained as the following: When the kidney detects a high level of red blood cells it suppresses the production of EPO. By reducing EPO levels into the bloodstream that leads to the bone marrow less red blood cells being produced.;therefore keeping the human body in a state of homeostasis...This process is refereed as the negative feedback mechanism. However one persons negative feedback mechanism can trigger when there is a concentration of red blood cells are at 40% and someone else's can be set at 49%. Now rather than set a threshold level at 50%, the blood passport looks to establish a threshold that will show each an athlete's individual set point....
